PV Tasting Notes
The 2001 Armagh shows aromas of liqueur cherry, mocha, spice and mint. The palate is generous, sweet and dense, with dark cherry and oak flavours and firm, but finely grained tannins. This wine is ideal for long term cellaring. We suggest that the wine is allowed to ‘breathe’ a minimum of two hours before being consumed to fully appreciate the distinctive flavours and aromas. If the wine is older than three years, decanting is necessary as the wine is unfiltered and a deposit will appear with age. Independently rated as one of the "100 World's Best" Red wines made in 2001.
Match this with the finest of foods.
