PV Tasting Notes
After 15 years on its lees has come together beautifully, this is now a glorious Champagne, displays citric high notes and wonderful deep earthy bass tones caramel/coffee ice cream with wholegrain toast flavours, creamy and pliant as the intensity develops on the palate. Has a vibrant structure and a tactile sensation on the finish, this is an ultra fine Champagne and one that really should be matched to fine food. Drink now through 2025. Tasted Sept 2011, if this gets re-rated, it will come in with a minimum of 96 Points.

This is beginning to show some maturity, with a mintiness to the aroma. The honey, candied citrus, berry and coffee notes have intensity and a warm glow, while the fine texture and vibrant structure keep it focused and youthful. Drink now through 2020. 2,000 cases made. –BS
