Totally gorgeous now, colour slightly deepening to a strawberry shade, aromas of toast, red berries, toffee and apple, still fresh and fairly dry, with superb richness, both the flavours and aromas are much finer than most champagnes, this stems from a single vineyard and has performed better and better with age in bottle.

Generous, full-bodied and broad-textured, this is a tempting, full-flavored and easy-drinking bubbly with toasty aromas and solid fruit flavors. Though relatively tight on the finish now, it should improve with time. Best after 1999.
