PV Tasting Notes

Silver straw colour, vibrant stone fruit, mineral and orange pith aromatics. The palate is fresh and clean, juicy with almost a salty edge to the mix of citric fruits, loaded with mineral and melon flavour contributing to the complexity. The acidity is perfectly balanced; allowing the ripe fruit to dominate, this is as a pure an example of Ribolla Gialla as you would want to find, a stunning wine, rich, long and really flavourful, with a very smooth finish. I think it will be difficult to find a better example of the varietal from this vintage, and impossible at a similar price. 

It is excellent as an aperitif, with oysters and Venus clams and steamed white–meat fish, lovely with Risotto with almost any flavours, and if you want to just slum out for the night, nothing flash, have it with KFC!
