Very similar to the fabulous 2008 vintage, this wine is pale straw in colour with a fragrant bouquet showing a leesy nose infected with peach, pear and floral aromas. The palate shows lime, pear and white peach flavours with a touch of almond and rose petal notes, generous but soft finish, very easy drinking and very nice. Tasted June 2011

The 2010 Pinot Gris has a moderate intensity of fresh pear and peach blossom aromas with a hint of fennel seed. Medium bodied, dry and crisp in the mouth, it offers just enough ripe apple and pear flavors in the mouth, finishing long with a suggestion of baking spices. Drinking now, it should remain fresh to 2013.
