This wine has a pure fruit bouquet, offering a perfume of floral red and black berries, blueberries, and super minerality. Dense ruby/purple, medium-bodied, elegant, a layered mouthfeel, and a singular personality, all built on an understated structure of tannin, this is another fabulous Cabernet Franc/Merlot from the Duemani estate. This beautiful wine, can be enjoyed now or continue to be aged for several years and then drink beautifully for 10-15 years. Tasted April 2008

The vinification process of the Altrovino is made in cement vats of between 30-40 hl in size where the maceration and both fermentation processes take place under temperature controlled conditions, following which the wine is matured for a further 9 months still in cement vats: the Altrovino sees no wood.
