Ample and generous on the palate, it offers outstanding length and a very finessed finish in a somewhat restrained style for the vintage. Anticipated maturity 2007-2018.
This stunning Merlot is perfect for Fillet of Beef Marchand de Vin (with wine and bone marrow) Roast Fillet of Beef but avoiding Beef Wellington, pasty dulls the palate. Roast lamb and Venison. However this is quite simply a joy to drink without any food accompaniments.
