PV Tasting Notes

Medium ruby colour, 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon with cherry and red fruits both on the nose and in the palette, a lighter styled wine, but juicy and very enjoyable, the tannins are soft and smooth, this is an expressive styled easy drinker.

Independent Review

88 points Wine Spectator Oct 2006
Strawberry and cherry character throughout. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a fruity finish. Juicy. Will improve, but why wait? Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. 14,330 cases made

Serve this top Tuscan wine with antipasto, barbecues, beef stroganoff, wind-dried beef, stuffed cabbage, roast guinea fowl, pigeon, rabbit, risotto, shepherds pie, strong meats, game and strong flavoured pasta dishes.

Located at the heart of the Chianti Classico region in Radda, Podere Terrabianca is rapidly becoming one of the most sought after estates in Tuscany. Roberto Guldener was 45 when he sold his fashion shop in Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich and bought the estate back in 1988. Today he runs the business with his wife and daughter and employs 38 people. They recently expanded into a second property, Tenuta Il Tesoro, which lies near the sea in the up and coming area of Massa Maritimma in the Maremma region, where they have also established a fantastic hotel. Campaccio, a sensory blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet is the flagship wine.
