The wine possesses a dense ruby/purple colour, as well as striking aromatics, consisting of black chocolate, jammy berries, and pain grille, beautifully integrated new oak, low acidity, and a plump, full-bodied, rich, concentrated style. Only 132 cases made.

Clear-cut, no compromise, varietal character with green olive, spice, earth and bitter chocolate; fine tannins, quality French oak and a long textured finish.
 

This lovely Merlot is perfect for Fillet of Beef Marchand de Vin (with wine and bone marrow) Roast Fillet of Beef but avoiding Beef Wellington, pasty dulls the palate. Roast lamb and Venison. However this is quite simply a joy to drink without any food accompaniments.
