The new release of Jansz wines include what is certainly their best NV sparkling wine to date. Only about 500 cases were made of the Premium Brut Cuvee Rose. The colour is a delicate light, and the nose offers a huge fragrance of red berry fruit. The palate impression is one of richness, medium body, and considerable flavour authority and individuality. People weaned on relatively green, flavourless sparkling wines will find this to be a superb rose sparkling wine.

The non-vintage Rose is a combination of 49% Pinot Noir, 47% Chardonnay, and 4% Pinot Meunier. Framboise intermixed with notions of herbs, earth, and brioche offer a delicious introduction to this dry, medium-bodied rose, which has an average tirage age of 29 months. The finish is long, and the bubbles are tiny, precise, and consistent. This sparkler should be enjoyed over the next 1-2 years.
Perfect aperitif wine but will also stand up to light chicken and fish dishes.
Also crafted using several vintages of wines from cooler regions - with the largest parcels being Tasmanian. All batches are kept separate during winemaking to maximise blending options and the complexity of the final wines. The wine then goes through secondary fermentation in bottles and is aged on yeast lees for as long as possible with the average age of the final blend being 18 months to two years.
Jansz Premium NV Rosé is vibrant delicate pink in colour with a fine persistent bead. The nose offers lifted notes of strawberry and cream, with delicate rose petal florals. This wine is rich with the creaminess of the mousse while the Pinot contributes strawberry notes that fill the palate. The fruit flavours give length to the wine and fresh natural acid provides balance and a refreshing finish.
