Produced from soils made up of schist and gravel, the 1995 Bonnezeaux La Montagne has bergamot and floral aromas that give way to a somewhat masculine, broad-shouldered character. Its profound medium-to-full body is densely packed with caramelized minerals, fresh clay, and yellow fruit flavors that last on the palate. Complex and structured, it has the requisite balance for extensive cellaring.
