We are pleased to inform you that our wine 2006 Santagostino Baglio Sorìa Red 2006 (Nero D’Avola - Syrah) with 91 points in the wine magazine Wine Spectator, has been ranked 50th in the annual roundup of the year’s 100 most exciting wines (“The top 100 of 2008”) selected during the year in blind tastings of approximately 19.500 wines from around the world.

The final list has been narrowed down based on four criteria: quality of the wine, value for money (final retail price), availability of the product on the market and the X-factor, “excitement”.

We are honored to receive this prestigious accolade “they keep on coming” and at the same time pleased to share it with you, particularly since we consider the Santagostino Baglio Sorìa Rosso one of the most historical and representative wines from Firriato.
