Events
Throughout the year, Premier Vintners organise a series of informal and formal wine tasting evenings and "meet the winemaker" dinners. These evenings can take place in prestigious venues in the West End, the City or at private individual homes. If you would like more information about these evenings or would simply like to arrange a private tasting in your own home for a group of friends please contact us by email at: tastingevents@premiervintners.co.ukMeet the Winemaker early dinner.

An opportunity to have dinner with ‘Alessandro Mori
Owner and winemaker of Il Marroneto; Brunello di Montalcino.
In the current “May” issue of Decanter Magazine...the TOP Brunello Wine
2005 Il Marroneto Brunello di Montalcino Madonna delle Grazie 5 Stars
From Robert Parkers Web Site.... The single-vineyard 2005 Brunello di Montalcino Madonna delle Grazie reveals more intensity in color along with a darker profile in its aromas and flavors than the regular bottling. The Madonna delle Grazie is impressively endowed from a structural point of view and offers gorgeous volume in its black cherries, spices, smoke and licorice. Once again, I came away deeply impressed with the wines I tasted from Il Marroneto, a small property located to the north of the town of Montalcino.
And to begin the 2007 Rosso di Montalcino.
Plus we will be also serving the 2004 Brunello di Montalcino
From Robert Parkers Web Site.... Il Marroneto’s 2004 Brunello di Montalcino is a rich, enveloping wine that flows onto the palate with generous dark red fruit. This is an especially harmonious, caressing Brunello that offers exceptional balance in an approachable style. Sweet floral notes develop on the close, adding to the wine’s complexity and sheer appeal. The wine continued to open up nicely in the glass. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2019.
In recent years Il Marroneto and proprietor Alessandro Mori have turned out very strong wines, as is the case again in 2004. These big, cask-aged Brunellos offers tons of style and sheer pedigree.
In addition, starting off with a vintage cracking Champagne en Magnum
And finishing off with one of the greatest dessert wines ever made on the Planet!
